Please follow steps at: Troubleshooting 101: Replace, or "trash" your InDesign preferences If you are still facing the crash, please send me your document for further investigation with some details: 1. What version of ID are you using? Please update to the latest, ID CC 2018.1(if not) and then re-try. 2. Also, please confirm in which version have you created the document 3. Hi RuthK, Seems like you are able to access the font in one doc and not able to find the same font in other document. Is that what it is? Can you please close your doc1 and reopen , on reopening try to find that font in the fonts drop down menu. If it is still not working, please share with me following details for more investigation on this: 1. From what location is that font accessed in doc 2, you can open doc 2, go to find font menu--> select font name and in more information find the location of the font. 2. If it is so, i would recommend to export the pdf(print) using InDesign export menu with same pdf preset as in Publish online dialog-->Advance tab.
